it is well made, sturdy product, and it does what it should do. i would personally like that it can go even lower than 5 cm, but that is not possible. grip on bass drum is a little flimsy so you have to thighten it up pretty good.
anyway it is better than riser that came along with my catalina jazz club.

when I use this on my 20" bass drum, the distance from beater is greater, meaning beater doesnt hit the head at 90° angle, its more like 105°. if u buy this take in account you either need new BD hoop or beater .
