It's basic, but well and sturdily finished, and amazingly cheap when you search and see how much it is possible to pay for a more complex cowbell bracket. I simply want to mount my cowbell between my two smaller toms, firmly attached to my bass drum rim without damage. The clamp has rubber jaws to avoid marking my Gretsch rim, and the cowbell is held unobtrusively and absolutely firmly where I want it to be. Can't ask for more.

Great for the price
Tomasinho 16.05.2017
Gibraltar quality for an affordable price! Only trouble i have with it is that, since it goes between the rack toms, i cannot have these as close together as i would like sice the cow bell is on the way! but not everyone has a set up like mine so it is perhaps minor! as far as the product goes, it is great quality and i appreciate it has a rubber pad which protects the bass drum hoop. im happy with the purchase and i recommend it!

The welding's solid, there's not sharp edges to scratch your kit and the rubber pad and cross hatching make sure nothing moves around while playing. So strap a cowbell or woodblock on and go nuts.

Better than cheaper alternatives but not the best
Nick762 14.05.2013
This cowbell mount is great & has a sturdy post but the wing nuts feel a bit cheap compared to other alternatives. Then again it is very simple & lightweight so prevents having to clamp a big bulky mount to your bass drum. The rubber also protects your bass drum hoop.

Cowbell Mount......
M K. 26.06.2014
Cheap, easy to use, but need to use with rubber packers to get a stable grip on the bass drum hoop, without damaging the hoop. If you don't, you either tighten so hard it damages the hoop, or accept that it will tilt during playing........

Good

It is very sturdy and easy to mount. It might however be a bit too short for smaller bass drums.

Stable. Has rubber lips to ensure that the bass drum hoop isn't damaged.

Not for everyone
T Molloy 11.11.2020
Needs to be cranked in order to be stable and of course no pads or fancy mechanisms here. Works fine for me since I have metal bass hoops, but wouldn't use in any other setting.

Can't beat the price
Drommer 07.02.2020
Very sturdy, stable, not moving anywhere!
Be careful if you have a 16" bass drum though, this could make the cowbell be in your legs' way, but can easily be resolved by moving the cowbell slightly to the side.
