Fantastic way to add more cymbals without taking up more space.
Anonymous 02.04.2014
This great little product is a boon to drummers who want to add more cymbals to their kit without taking up space. It works, and is made perfectly, as is to be expected from Gibraltar.

Using either the 4" or 6" stacker, one can put splashes over crashes, bells over trashes, small effects cymbals over trashes over rides. The possibilities are endless. Just make sure smaller cymbals go over larger ones.

Be warned though, upon trying one for the first time, you will want to buy one for every cymbal you have, so small is the footprint and so effective the result.

Does exactly what is needs to do!
Ricker 16.08.2017
I did use a Gibraltar cymbal stacker with side screw, which eventually chewed up the threads on my cymbal stand. Got a new cymbal stand so tried this as a replacement as it is threaded and not side screwed.
Really high quality, felts and wing nut really good. My only complaint is that sometimes mid gig I have to re-tighten it onto my ride cymbal stand as the vibrations caused by my ride cymbal cause it to loosen slightly. This could be prevented by having some kind of nylon somewhere in the threads, much like a locking nut has. However this would probably push the price up if they made this adjustment! Still, very good though!

the great extender !
ztuzgg 04.08.2019
Gets the job done, just screw it on your cymbal stand, and you have your splash cymbal just above the bell of your bigger cymbal, or if you need to use a cowbell but don't want to complicate too much with separate stands, just remove the nut
and mount your cowbell on a screw. Great for a percussionist / cajon player who can't mount a cowbell anywhere else.
Just be sure to pick the right model , since there are 2 models with different lengths.

Great adapter and space saver!!
GioCrz 13.12.2017
I fit 4 pieces of these adapters on top of my bigger cymbals, and mounted all my splash cymbals on them. They are very sturdy and I ended up saving alot of valuable cymbal-stand space on my rack. I recommend them to everyone with any size of kit. Big or small. They are very convenient and keep your extra cymbals/stacks close to you, where you need them. Plus, it makes your gear/set-up look great!

SE
Very useful bit of kit
Steve E007 06.07.2023
I have a couple of these, they hold small splash cymbals above my crashes. They work very well and save on setting up and transporting stands. I don’t use the bells of the crash cymbals so don’t lose anything. I find the separation with the longer shaft is better for me as it keeps the splash cymbal out of the arc of the stick so I don’t hit it by mistake.

Brilliant little extra.
GavinW 19.01.2015
I wanted to start using my splash cymbal again but didn't want to use the arm+clamp set up. Its too fussy when setting up for a gig. This cymbal stacker is great. Once it is on, you can leave it on. The original cymbal seat stays in place.Move the seat of the stacker to place/ remove main cymbal. You still have just one wing-nut to move which is that if the stacker.
And yes, you can lock down the min cymbal AND use the stacker. BEFORE putting stacker on, place a large washer over top felt of main cymbal. Voila.
