Verarbeitung + Einstellung tadellos. Hals (obgleich bei Gibson als medium C beschrieben) sehr kräftig-gefällt mir! Bünde etwas höher und breiter als bei vintage-orientierten CS-Explorern.

Sound: durch die PU?s leicht vorkomprimiert Clean sehr angenehmer, warmer Sound-selbst der Steg PU "perlt". Gain+Highgain: Moderner wunderbar aggressiver Rock+Metalsound.
Insgesamt ist der Ton sehr fokussiert, springt schnell an und hat -auch bei geringer Lautstärke- ein langes Sustain. Die Intonation ist über alle Register extrem gleichmässig, die Saitentrennung hervorragend und das Instrument macht auch bei extremen Gainsettings keine unerwünschten Obertöne.

Getestet mit Boogie MK V, Diezel VH4, AxeFX II.

Fazit: Kompromissloses, vielseitiges modernes Rockbrett auf hohem Niveau mit aussergeöhnlichem Look-Bin begeistert!
