Great sound, still quality control problems

There are not enough words to say how great this guitar looks and sounds like. The "unburst" definitely looks amazing, but the finish is slightly darker than it is shown in the pictures. The hardcase is also awesome. However, I have to say a few other things, not so great things:
- Even though the quality control of the Gibson's has improved, there still are quality control problems. Mine's had a red stain (from the guitar neck finish) on the nut. The stain on the side of the nut is not big, but it can be seen quite clearly. This was a bit disappointing.
- Fretwork also is not a masterpiece. The heights of some frets are uneven. But nothing very bad. More or less, height it was okay.
- The nut was extremely high. I had to take the guitar to the luthier to take care of the nut height.
- The set-up was quite bad also. String action was very high and the 6th and the 5th strings were buzzing on the 3-5th frets. Proper set-up solved these problems.

In general, all of the problems were quite minor and were solved by doing proper set-up (except for the stain on the nut and frets).

Hello. I use this guitar to play in a punk rock band and blues.
The sound of the guitar is amazing, the assembly of the instrument is at the highest level, everything is done according to the canons of this guitar model. The only thing I didn't like was that the tuning pegs on the guitar are very mediocre for such a price, so I had to replace them with Gotoh locks.

Quality beyond my expectations

I got the guitar expecting minor quality issues, but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. I love the smell of the nitrocellulose lacquer. The maple top pieces could have more flame and be better matched though.

Gibson seems to be back on track, quality wise. The guitar feels great and sounds great.
The only con I have found is that I am allergic to the clear lacquer finish, easily solved by wearing a long sleeved top.

I wanted a nice flame top Les Paul and got this Standard 60 Unburst with almost perfect quality. The intonation was not 100% but after a change to 009 strings (which i prefer instead of 010) it only took me 10 min to adjust the intonation to 100%. Nice price and fast delivery.
This guitar has medium thin neck, medium frets and PUs with a nice bite. Perfect for me (with a vast collection of other guitars)

This did not dissappoint I took the leap and bought it without having played one during lockdown and it exceeded my expectations looks and sounds amazing.
