Gibson Montana Comfort Strap Tan

All I wanted for a heavy Les Paul was something that would spread the weight of the guitar while playing for hours or even while practicing as I stand and all I can say is with this strap I never want to sit because aside from the strap spreading the weight evenly, it snugs onto your body regardless of the shirt you are wearing or even if you are without one like a true rockstar and it has this luxury leather smell but it does wear off if it is something you don't like and it is also has some stiffness to it. just in case you plan on rolling it, it just won't work, and that I'm afraid might just be the only way you can damage the strap otherwise it's super durable and comes in what I would consider a rather nice packaging, and yea one last thing, because of the thick leather material used, it fits the strap buttons perfectly, it's almost as if Gibson designed it for their guitars. And if you have a light guitar this might not the strap for you because there is no weight to spread but it might work for you though but if you got a Les Paul well what are you waiting for? the Les Paul headstock is even designed on the packaging, it's not like a case or a box but it's a nice packaging and I'm sure every Les Paul owners out there would love it, I still haven't gotten rid of mine, that way I can have my beautiful leather strap padded with foam on the wall, just as all things should be.

For the price, I was shocked to see just how great the quality is. I was expecting an OK product and got a great one. Very comfortable and they work well with S-Lock's which is even better as not all straps do.

I have straps for all my guitars.I bought a couple of these for an LP and a Wildkat but I will also be using them on my Strat as they're that comfortable.

Out of the packaging, the main body of the strap is a little stiff but with time I believe they will soften but they look a bit strange left on a guitar on a stand. That said, they're reshaping well and they look great.

I ordered this by mistake and the switchblade. But im keeping both, they are quality and i cant choose between them. Im only learning for 6 months and have always struggled with getting comfortable with the guitar. All the other straps i have tried let the guitar move about and nip me in the neck. No such problems with these babies instantly feel comfortable the guitar seems in the perfect position and most importantly wont move. Completely different to the switchblade which is functional this is beautiful with lovely detailing in the fine leather and the memory foam is oh so comfortable. i wish i could have chosen between them.

i play a 2013 gibson lpj which is a quite heavy guitar.

I bought this strap for my Les Paul and like the guitar, the strap is a quality product. It's a soft malleable leather which is very comfortable to wear. I love the designs embossed in the leather and the gold Gibson logo enhances the impression of luxury. The memory foam is a great idea and extremely comfortable on the shoulder, however because it is covered in a light coloured material it gets dirty easily. The strap button holes are quite big to accommodate the large strap buttons on the Les Paul so a set of strap locks are essential. (You should always fit strap locks on an expensive guitar anyway). I'm delighted with this strap and totally recommend it to complement your Gibson, oh by the way, it is considerably cheaper from Thomann than it is in the UK even with P&P.
