Works fine but leaves a bit of residue.

This product works fine but it does leave a bit of residue that takes a lot of effort to polish off the guitar. It actually takes more effort to get the product residue off the guitar than the dirt! Probably because the pump delivers a rather solid splash rather than a fine mist (maybe my spray bottle is slightly defective???). I always get more cleaning agent than I really wanted or needed. But the guitar looks great afterwards. smells nice and most importantly the polish hasn't damaged the finish on any guitar I've used it on.

The included cloth wasn't really lint free until I had washed it first but perfectly fine afterwards.

The "protection" rating is completely pointless though as this product obviously offers no protection whatsoever. It will have to get a "very poor" rating but this doesn't really reflect on the quality of the product at all!

Good polish, not so good cloth

This is a nice product for cleaning and protection.

It is easy to use: the spray makes it very convenient to apply the product first on the cloth and then on the guitar. It leaves a nice smell, although not for a long time.

For those who have nitro lacquer guitars, the polish bottle informs that this product is safe for all lacquer and polyurethane finishes.

A nice thing about this polish is that is also seals the finish a bit.
The polish bottle also informs that this ?Will not build up or damage metal hardware.?

The cloth is the not so good part of this combo. It is pretty, with the Gibson logo on it, but after a while it leaves small yellow bits of it on the guitar? At the time of writing the diference between the combo and the polish only is approximately ?1 / 75p. I think it is really not worthy to buy this cloth independently :)
Looks like a good micro-fiber cloth would to the job better.

As for the polish, it looks like it will last a long time.

Does what it says on the tin

Good polish from Gibson, and does what you would expect. Easy to spray, and good to have the cloth as part of the package. The cloth is a bit thin and if you go over the strings with it or metallic areas such as the bridge, it will wear out really quickly.

Seems good to me

I have wiped this over my brand new Dean Zelinsky a couple of times and it seems to clean and shine the lacquer nicely.
I hope that is dries to a hard shell as I have been told it does.
Time will tell. For the money a good buy.

Good for cleaning nitro finishes, won't affect hardware

Go this to clean off the VOS gunk on the neck of a Les Paul. My hand kept getting stuck on the VOS finish, but this takes it off well.

Great polisher

I expected great quality from Gibson and I was not wrong! It polishes tremendously smooth and clean. After I have applied it for once my guitar was shining as new. Great polish cloth with Gibson label included.
