This is my first foray into a quality guitar and I absolutely love it!
The tone, resonance and appearance are fantastic and all that I had hoped for.
I imported 'Susie' into the UK from Germany and that was the only cause for anxiety that I felt. Thomann staff were superb and sent photos of my guitar before I completed the sale. I cannot fault Thomann at all. Re. the importing: Thomann use UPS and after the expected delay (due to our -the UK that is - stupid Brexit decision) I had a couple of messages thru the UPS app that were contradictory and generic. I have to say I got concerned as to it's whereabouts and tried phoning UPS- auto replies only and therefore, useless. I started reading the customer comments on UPS - a big mistake as that only served to fuel my anxiety. In the end I spoke to a local UPS driver who said he'd look out for it for me. True to his word , it eventually arrived a day ahead of the latest app. delivery date. So, in summary- my Gibson Southern Jumbo is brilliant and everything I hoped it would be and in reality, only arrived about a week after the original specified delivery date - altho it seemed a lot longer!
My advise, for what it is worth, is to get yourself one of these beautiful guitars and enjoy taking your playing to the next level.....and beyond!!
