CRL 3-Way Switch

I use these regularly to replace the cheap box switches on import guitars. They're pretty much the first upgrade I do. They have a great tactile feeling to them, and are extremely reliable.
A warning for DIY guitar tinkerers. Be careful not to put too much solder on the lugs because it can overflow down to the contacts and ruin the switch. Other than that, they're fairly easy to wire.

I put this in my Vintage Reissue Tele to replace the nasty little unit that started cutting out a few months after purchase.
The unit operates smoothly with no "clunk" and hopefully will last for a few years going forward.
I've bought a few Goldo pots and they are the reason i picked up this switch.Going on quality this is good bang for the buck.

I bought these 3 way switch for my Warmooth Tele. The build quality is much better than the aftermarket Fender switch.
OK the Göldo is more expensive but worth every Cent.
The feeling of the switch is much more solid than the cheaper fender switch.

I would buy again.

I used this switch to replace the 3-way switch on my Harley Benton Fusion-T telecaster. It feels great, there's very little (if any) slack and there's no noise when when it's locked in place (which is the problem I had with the old switch.

Assembly is easy enough. The instructions are very simple but easy to understand and it's an easy solder job so even if you get it wrong you can easily correct the mistake.

So it is unuseful now for me, I hadn't sent it back to Thomann since the Customs haemorrhoids were highly undesirable

Nothing special here, does it's job without noise, easy to solder on and install, for US knob only, the European will be loose a bit.

This has spring tension, rather than the usual ball bearing and spring leaf construction. It has a much more solid feel than most selectors and a very positive tactile action. I seem to remember working on someone's Tele back in the early '70's and it had one of these switches with the spring. The black knob provided is the Strat type, so bear this in mind if you need a Tele knob for it. A wiring diagram is provided for both Tele and Strat use. A darn good switch if you want tough and chunky. (ö = Alt 148) in Göldo.

Gets the job done exactly as per description, plus it looks great!!!

Very good quality, reliable, i'm plating live and don't have any fear with Goldo.

The switch is very well made. It lasts long, can take a beating and the switch has a nice mechanical action. It is hard enough to stop at the right place and gives a confident click to switch without looking and knowing you are going to stop where you want it to.
