These are the skeleton type, which have a very tight and reliable spring connection. I have been using this type for many years, and the only imaginable problem could be if you use it with a metal chassis or box. The outer connection is then grounded to the chassis or box. Fine if a good ground is what you want (I do in this case), but a problem if you need a ground lift. They are also the "Industry Standard" for stomp boxes or guitars with active electronics, where the battery is connected to the "Ring" terminal. I've always found these to be extremely reliable, and far better than the moulded plastic body type. Plastic body is better for ground lift.

First time replacing a jack, no issues
Anonymous 26.07.2016
So I was fixing a friends bass guitar that had the jack ripped out so picked up one of these. First of all, no local store had the right size so after scouring online I settled on this one. No issues with the jack at all, a lot sturdier than the previous one and worked like a charm. I don't know electronics enough to know if it made any difference in that regard but no excess noise since replacing

Simple Solid Plug
Anonymous 24.06.2014
This Plug does exactly what it is supposed. Neither more nor less.
You do not need to buy an expensive one. This one will shurely be sufficent.
I use it as Output Jack for my active self-made bass-guitar and have no problems.

As the title says. Pretty much the standard choice for jack outputs. Good quality at a decent price.

solid and reliable
Cesar593 08.01.2018
This jack plug is very reliable and easy to solder: conections are very easy and simple to make with an ordinary soldering iron, no hassles! This is a very solid and well nuilt conector. I use switchcraft every time I need to replace a connector on an instrument. Seems to be perfect and never fails. A must have.

Great Quality
Anonymous 09.12.2014
Great quality stereo jack sockets. I used these for the input of custom pedals to switch the battery into the circuit when a cable is plugged in. Have also used these while repairing some pedals, amps etc. They have yet to let me down.
