I use mine in a japanese strat from early 90s. I have two of these together with 3 original springs that came with the guitar. These are more sturdy, robust and heavy than the fender springs. They work very fine, in the beggining they made squeeky noices but after a few days of abuse they got silent. I am pleased with this product but if you intend to use this along with original fender springs i advice you to buy the fender ones, these are abit too different than them I think.
