Perfect fit on Ibanez RGA42FM
Bogdan_ 12.10.2020
It is a perfect fit for my RGA42FM.
It does not need any plate to be added or holes to be drilled.
The pins on the tuning machines are fitting perfectly into the existing holes.
It will be a perfect fit for any Ibanez neck that does not have screws to fix the tuner. Mine is Wizard III.
For the others neck for sure there is a match among the mounting plates provided.

NB
Best locking tuners out there, only one thing to consider
Nicolas Bannwarth 27.09.2024
I purchased these as they seemed to be the best locking tuners out there and indeed they are. I have Sperzel's on another guitar, also own a Solar with their own locking tuners and the Graphtech win it for me. To be fair the Solar also has an Evertune so I only used the tuners twice when changing strings.

These tuners feel very smooth and after few months they help my telecaster thinline stay in tune even after switching from standard E to drop D regularly as well other weird tuning experiments and some intense playing sessions.

Only thing is, it comes with plenty of templates for easy replacement and I thought I could switch them easy but no. There is a tele style fit but the spacing in between each is wrong. The original tuners were too close to each other compare to the template provided. Had to spend some time fitting them properly but nothing I wasn't prepared to do when I first looked for new tuners.

Only got a little disappointed after getting my hopes up with these templates. This would have been nice though.

To sum it up, great tuners, would buy again and recommend without hesitation as they definitely are the best in my opinion.

Surprised
shadow_x99 02.03.2019
I've bought those Locking Tuners after looking at Phil McKnight (from Know Your Gear fame) Sharpen my Axe video. To say that he installed those tuners on numerous guitars, and that he certified of their quality was an understatement.

I disliked my cheap Schecter tuners on my guitar, so I said, why not give it a go? And after only a few hours, the tuning stability of the instrument is better, tuning is easier, and much less rattling when tuning.

I really like it, and frankly now that I am spoiled with Locking Tuners, I will never ever go back to non-locking tuners

Excellent tuning machines
Strummin'ronin 04.09.2020
I chose the RATIO tuners because they do not need any drilling on my Ibanez. Just a straight swap with a trouble-free installation. If they were less expensive i would buy one more set to put them on my other Ibanez guitar.
