It's a good nut, but be aware that this is recommended for 12" radius necks where the nut bottom is usually flat. For most fenders, the correct replacement would be the PT 50000.

Tuning stability improved, open strings are chiming more.
Needed a lot of patience and filing with fine tools. Eventually I got to the point where I wanted.
