Unless I am missing something here, there does not seem to be a way to stagger typical pencil microphones (Rode M5) in height when doing near-incident mic'ing (X/Y, ORTF) without extra flanges not included in this product. The mic's will be pointing at diferent horizontal angles, not what you want. The Rode alternative seems to be able to do this by putting a simple plastic flange once below and once above the bar ...
Also, the adjustment angle of the bar to a microphone boom is limited to 180 degrees, making it impossible to point the microphones horizontally when the boom is pointing downwards.
It is well built though ...
Not sure to return this or adapt it ....
