Nice clamps
Raavem 25.01.2022
Rigid plastic. Padded. Can adjust angle. There is a rubber/silicon like coating that provides grip. Yellow and black rubber rings can colour code. Adapter has coin slot to help remove if stuck which is very useful.

VV
Great Mic Clamp, good experiences to tell
Victor Valiant 15.11.2024
I've had this clamp for well over a year now, and it's still functioning very good.
Useful info & experiences in detail:

The insides of the clamp is rubber padded, so it doesn't scratch the mic & isolates handling noise a bit as well.
It's bit hard to see on the pictures, but it's about 1mm to 3mm thick rubber padding glued on the insides of it.
It has a good clamp pressure & the mic won't slide easily once fitted.
Using it, I suggest opening the clamp, position the mic to preferences, and then release clamp to hold.
Caution: Don't try to reposition or forcibly slide mic with it being hard clamped down, as it might friction and wear out the rubber padding from it's glued position. It goes without saying, however some people tend to do that or by accident, so watch out when other people handles this mic clamp when you're not looking.

Generally used with an cone type dynamic mic SM58/XM8500 handheld style mics.
It's so much better at holding the mic than the simple slide in holders it usually comes with.

But I've used it also on the AKG C214 condenser mic, which has an cylinder base shaft to clamp to, and works just as great and stable. This clamp holds it tighter than the shock mount the AKG C214 came with and easier to re-position. I think it would work great with Pencil stick/ small condenser mics as well.

Screwing this clamp on is stable and tight, and the side knob + tilting is also good and easy to position and in just 2 half turns it's hand tight and ready to go.
Another half turn and it's very tight to even take a bump and not be affected at all from it's set position.

The Green colored rubber bands on the clamps are an brand color design of Gravity, but they ship black rubber bands along in the package, so you can swap them out for an all-out black elegant look.

As it's all mat-black & not glossy-shiny like steel or chrome, it looks very stealth in an dimmed studio.
The singer/vocalist can fully focus on the mic in front of them & not be distracted by the clamp.
It's an cool detail & better vocal experience to consider using those black bands. They're elastic bands so it's easy to swap them out.

Very good quality for the cost.
I have other mic items from Gravity, and they also function great & looks good, minimal wear out after using it extensively.
These experiences made me grow favorable of them over the years, as they've proven with reliable good tools in my studio.

Hope this review helps you with info & deciding. Cheers.

Watch the springs
graymac 04.07.2023
Decent price. Adequate clamp, particularly for the fatter styled wireless mikes. Holds them well enough. However, I found the springs that do the gripping can work loose - fortunately the "one that got away" was found at the bottom of my gig-bag and I managed to re-fit it. But it should not be possible for it to fall out, so a design/quality flaw??

Handy clip
Paul592 29.08.2021
I'd say these clips would work for almost every live vocal mic out there. Fairly strong grip on it, but sometimes I do accidentally knock it out of the holder, so an even stronger spring would make this a 10/10. But it does the job and at that price get outa here
