you can put it evrywhere. They are just so stratchy....you can put it even on a pol ob 38" diameter or maybe even biger.

I use these clips on light and speaker stands. They do not press very tightly, the scotch acts more securely in terms of stealth. In general it is convenient. I recommend buying it if you really need to hide the wires.
