Solid and reliable

After trying some mandoline I took my chances on a lap steel. Lovely instrument! This Gretsch looks great and feels great. Fine tuners and pickup sounds great!
4 stars for features because the distance between the highest fret and bridge is too small to use palm blocking technique without having to pick strings above the fretboard.

Wunderschöne Lap Steel von Gretsch

Das schicke Teil macht einen hochwertigen Eindruck und sitzt gut ausbalanciert auf dem Schoß.
Das Spielgefühl ist sehr angenehm und auch als blutiger Anfänger hat man schnell erste Erfolge in der Tonfindung.
Volumen und Tonepoti drehen sehr angenehm und arbeiten vorbildlich.
Die dezenten Bundmarkierungen sind genau nach meinem Geschmack und ausreichend erkennbar.
Der Pickup hat ordentlich Output, egal ob clean oder Overdrive, klingt alles super.
Der Spaßfaktor ist enorm, das Schätzchen bleibt bei mir.
Unterm Stich muss ich aber sagen das die Konstruktion sehr einfach ist, deshalb tue ich mich mit dem Preis etwas schwer. Kein Schnäppchen.
