If you dont mind paying this much money for two metal rods with some felt on the end, these are good beaters which work on all gong sizes from 8" to 32" and perhaps more.
Two problems for me - there is a hard edge on the felt join and if you hit the gong at that point, you get a different sound (I have marked my ones so I don't do this by accident) and secondly, the felt distorts on impact so the ends become uneven. This means the felt squashes over time and the beaters will eventually be no good.
