Size: Small - 41.5 - 6-string guitar / 4-string bass
Can be placed quickly and easily in under the strings behind the nut to eliminate any unwanted ringing or overtones in that area
Particularly useful for high gain settings
If used in combination with a FretWrap, the FretWrap can be slid up the neck, for example for tapping passages on the neck, while the FretWedge stays in place - the perfect combination to get all unwanted background noises under control

Stop cutting that ugly foam and putting it between your strings on top of your headstock!
Gruvvgear made this amazing small piece that dampens the strings from ringing out.
Is it's for recording or for playing live, it's a must for both.
Also it's for guitar and basses!
If you use alot of gain or if you play clean but are using a guitar with a bigsby or an other trem, you always can hear the strings ringing out. Even without a trem so I can't recommend this Gruvvgear Fretwedge enough!
Installing is very easy, Just loosen the strings, put the fretwedge after the nut onto your headstock and fasten your strings.
The Fretwedge will automatically lock between your strings.

You are much better off using a strip of foam or felt
Sergiii 18.06.2020
Too thick to slide under the strings.
There is a piece of hards plastic inside of this Gruvgear fretwedge that is very likely to scratch the finish when you try to place it under the strings
Very disappointed - you are much better off using a strip of foam or felt (you can take replacement felt cloth being sold for wiping down a whiteboard).
