Hinkler Books The Blues Box Guitar Kit

Very easy to setup, amazingly good sound out of what is possibly a (partially?) cardboard body,
Also, it can be connected to an amp, which was a bonus, didn't realize it had a pickup when I bought it.
Wish it had 4 strings though.

Got this with a bit low expectations, I have to admit...but I was absolutely thrilled that I did, eventually!
Holds tuning more than I expected, and sounds pretty clear on my guitar amp...endless cigar blues fun!

I have been using this guitar for busking and gigs a magic little kit with all included ,a slide a little music book with some tabs and exercises plus an audio c d for tuning's and further licks and riffs ... its got a pick up sounds great plugged in or not ....a glass slide strings also included great value make a great xmas present ...the guitar is easy to put together ..done with in 10 mins....definitely more than just a toy...

My youngest son has developed a love of blues and bluegrass. So this was the perfect gift. The only problem being that he won't put it down or let me have ago.

Wasn't expecting too much of this instrument given the price, but I've been playing and recording with it pretty much since the day I got it. I plug it straight into my effects processor and into my audiobox. It sounds brilliant. One of the best value for money instruments I've ever bought.

There's no real DIY construction involved, but it sounds so good I don't care.

Fantastic value for money IMHO.
