Compares well with market leader
HuWill 07.12.2021
I have used this wireless unit for some time after breaking my previous 'market leading' unit. This is much cheaper but feels more robust and works well. It has on-off switches on the receiver and the sender and the units automatically synchronise to one of four channels, though the user can change these if wished.

The design works well with different guitar jack sockets from Strat type to strap button to side sockets. The only slight criticism is that the folding mechanism could be stiffer to allow the unit to stay as set by the user. Nevertheless, it doesn't have to stick out from the guitar thus protecting it from the type of accident that befell my previous unit.

I have had no trouble with quality of sound or dropout with the unit. I have not tried it with my keyboard, but I understand that if I needed it that it would work with that as well. I have not tested the range.

In conclusion- well made and well priced- if you need wireless connection between your instrument and your amp this is all you need.

MR
Simple and good
Michel R 14.11.2022
This is a simple wireless system, and as good as you can expect from a unit this cheap.

Yes, someone would say, the built quality is not top of the line. But that´s the thing, you can´t expect top quality for that price.
Yes it feels a little bit plastic, but that doesn´t bother me.

The system itself is very easy to start up, almost plug and play level.
It also doesn´t color the sound that much. I have some top level cables I use and I didn´t hear any specific differences between the sound with cable and this wireless. Maybe if you want to analyze extremely critical, the sound is maybe a little bit brighter than with good cables.

But that can also be that the cables are coloring the sound....
So my conclusion is that this is a good semi level wireless, good enough for practicing at home or small cover bands who doesn´t play on too big stages.
And because the system itself is so cheap, you can easy have another backup pair, and it will still be a very cheap and affordable system. That said because battery life is not that top level.
So if you don´t need a big wireless system for Pro use, I can without problem recommend this one. You get what you pay for.
With this system I can say, you get what you pay for but 20 % better.

Leads...ah ha I don't think so sir!
DIRTYFONK 09.04.2022
These wee things are great, plug any way u need, transmitter from guitar to receiver at your pedal board then only cable to amp (or another set of these set to different frequency) keeping lead free guitar/bass environment ready for implementation of your bands new (trip free) choreography routine. I like to charge them regularly although they do hold charge for a reasonable amount of time, defo a whole long gig. Some ppl tell me there is some latency with these but if there is it is minimal enough to not be an issue imo.

Great, works without interference.
AlexCollins 01.05.2022
Works well, no interference, decent battery, decent range. Also comes with a small carrying case.

I went for the 5.8 GHz version as I have many other electronics using the 2.4 frequency that I didn't want to interfere. So far so good.

Harley Benton AirBorne 5.8GHz is OK, as I expected. It is connected to an acoustic guitar and works with bose S1 Pro without problems.

No problem so far
Folkie_Bear 30.04.2023
I am usually playing clean electric guitar. I used this wireless in various indoor gigs and had no problem so far. There is a bit of tone difference if you listen carefully at home but not noticeable in live settings with my clean tone. I always have a backup cable but never needed to use it so far.

I used it with bass and active acoustic guitars without problem as well. Works well for the price. 5.8 GHz wireless system for a little money is great!

Really good
Potatoface 14.09.2022
Have been using these to practice at home for about 2 months now. Good sound, decent battery life, no latency that I could notice. All in all, good product for the price.

Works perfect
Seán_Brady 20.09.2023
System works well I do notice that there is a slight hum when the guitar is left idle however once you begin to play it disappears I have been unable to test the true extremities of the range as I practice in a small room and the system does not work through the thick walls. This system gives me great freedom however as being wireless cable management is not an issue i would recommend this product as it seems to work well for me and is a much cheaper alternative to other systems available on the market

It's ok but prefer the 2GHz version
tsiguel 25.06.2023
After using the 2GHz version and being extremely happy with it decided to get a 5GHz one to not conflict on the frequencies.

The one that was sent was not working so Thomann provided a replacement quickly and it was working fine ever since with exception for occasional glitches

The size is much larger than the 2GHz version and the plastic does not feel as nice, also while the 2GHz version's transmitter/receiver clip onto each other, this one has a pouch that is good but takes a lot more space. Unlike the 2GHz version, transmitter and receiver are different colours which is a positive

Overall, I wish this was a carbon copy of the 2GHz version using different frequency. As is it is an average wireless system but still good for it's price although I would suggest to get the 2ghz version
