These Harley Benton heads are amazing! They just turn smoothly and are well oiled. Afther a while they work just as good as they did before. I bought them to replace my 60-70 years old tuners which i couldnt even move anymore, and they worked out perfectly. The only thing i really find a pity is that the details on the decoration isn't as fine as i wished to be. But for this price, they will be a great upgrade for some guitars :)
Pros:
Cheap
Great quality
Well oiled
Good grip
Cons:
Not too well detailed
Would recommend!!

Good tuners, bad screws that come included
Armageljon 06.09.2018
Had no trouble fitting the tuners on a old yugoslavian Melodija Menge¨ classical guitar. Fits right where the old tuners were. One of the screws that came with the tuners broke while i was screwing it into the headstock. Replaced them all with some steel ones. Otherwise works great. Smooth and precise tuning. For the price i think including better screws should not be a problem.

Cost effective replacement
Peter6652 22.06.2014
I bought these as substitutes for the original factory machine heads on a Fender CN240-SCE thinline electro-acoustic classical. The factory tuners provided variable tension and were cheaply manufactured. However, the cost of first-class replacements was not justified and the Harley Benton alternative has proved to be an excellent economical compromise. Of course, there's an element of 'you get what you pay for', but for a guitar on the cheaper end of mid-priced, they are a significant improvement. Recommended.

Price / what you get = Unbeatable !!!

Things ARE getting better !!!!!
Say 10 years ago you would have had to pay five times as much for these machineheads !!
If anything negative a bit overdecorated ?
But there are a lot of guitars that can carry that !

Very decent product

For the price these tuning machines are in my opinion very good. They look nice, they work ok and the tuning is reliable enough, considering you will use them in a cheap instrument. For a guitar costing around 200-250 euros they are a luxury.

Great machine heads.
Matias M. 20.06.2015
Bought them for one old guitar I found in the trashed stuff on the street and decided to restore it.
Quite robust machine heads, better than the ones that comes on my 280 Euro LaMancha, they have no play.
Gold looks amazing on a plain Spanish classic guitar.
Highly recommended!

Bought to repair a broken accoustic.
John1541 15.12.2016
Good value machine heads that are simple to fit to and existing acoustic headstock. Holds tuning and doesn't look like it's going to fall to bits. I'm impressed.
