As far as I'm aware you can't get an SG Junior in Heather Poly from any other manufacturer outside of a custom shop order. At $150 this one is a screaming value if it's even borderline playable - and mine is much better than that. The setup isn't perfect, no, but it's as good as the average guitar hanging on a retail shop wall. The frets are actually finished pretty well and are level enough for medium-low action without any other intervention. The single pickup is actually fantastic, a vintage low-output Alnico P90. The electronics, including full-size MIK pots, look good and function well.
The guitar is light and super resonant. It is the most resonant solidbody I own, and I own a number of much more expensive guitars.
A couple nitpicks: I could do without the goofy "Roswell" branding on the pickup cover, and the best thing about vintage-style tuners are split shafts, but these ones are solid shafts. I swapped both for about $20.
