I received my guitar two days ago and immediately began setting it up, adjusted the truss rod, changed strings, lowered the action - all the way down, and still I could not get it down to a reasonable level like my other guitars. I can't lower it any more. It plays fine up to the 12th - 22 frets, then it's just too high. The guitar is good quality for the price, but you can find a good Ibanez or Schecter for the same price and buy one locally used (I'm in Los Angeles). Communicating with Thomann is not easy and they never replied to my inquiry about this issue. Without good action all up and down the fretboard, the guitar is not useful to me. I have an Ibanez AWD83T for which I paid $350 that is much better. I was very hopeful that this was going to be a great bargain, I was wrong. And now if I want to return it to Thomann in Germany, I will have to pay for the shipping. I say no. There are many guitars for similar prices or just a few dollars more that are as good or better than this one. Even Fender Squiers are every bit as good. Careful with your money.
