I had no problem with installing one of these on my acoustic guitar.

I used a bradawl, to make a small hole in the underside crook of the neck, and it screwed in ok.

The Strap Knob works fine, holds well.

Using this made the guitar way more playable than when using a strap tied around the top nut.

Its an ok vintage like strap knob set , I would prefer a bigger screw but they are ok , I would highly recommend to use them with the rubber locks because they are a bit small and the strap might slip

Nice little strap pins

They do the job but are rather small and the screws are quite thin. My guitar is light so it's not a problem but I wouldn't use them for heavier guitars.

Holds strap well

The angle and depth of this strap knob hold the straps very well (especially compared to some others I've used).

The only con is that the felt washer wasn't really thick enough for my preference. I substituted a washer from a different strap knob set.
