Almost as silent as a silent guitar
xmac 11.05.2022
I bought this guitar to fit the same purpose as my Yamaha Silent Guitar, being able to practice in an apartment building at any time, day or night, but I want a guitar in a different tuning, and it fits the need perfectly! It's ever so slightly louder but it still no where near as loud as a normal classical guitar.

The neck, is smooth and fast, I was pleasantly surprised how comfortable it was to play. The nut is 52mm, so if you're more of a purist and were put off by the Yamaha Silent Guitar 50mm, or the 48mm of the Harley Benton Nashville, you won't have that concern here.

I play it unplugged so I have no input about what it actually sounds like plugged in but I have no plans on using it like anytime soon.

If this guitar was available when I bought my Yamaha Silent Guitar, I think I would've had a tough time deciding which to settle on.
Overall though, the Yamaha is a better quality neck (it has a unique body so I won't compare that) and it has the whole being able to plug headphones into it thing going on.

In regards to the finish, if you like wood grain and wood colours, the front, back, neck and head stock are all different shades with nice visible wood textures.

I welcome this guitar to my collection with open arms and look forward to more guitars of this hybrid nylon nature coming out in the future.

amazing for the price

Lovely little thing, a few markings on the final polish (on the neck of the guitar) but apart from that is one hell of a guitar

Here are some songs I made with it and there is no eq or audio effects on the guitar track so it's how it will sound for you also

plugged into an audio interface no with EQ
with a mic with no EQ

No musical sound
hughbido 03.06.2023
The size and specification is good. But the nylon strings guitar cannot create a musical sound.

I have had a professional setup with Feline guitars whose article about their abilities appeared in guitarist magazine and have setup at least 6 of my 16 guitars. Still it sounds hopeless. The failing I believe is to treat this nylon string as a steel string afterthought.

The enormous block inside under the bridge kills the correct resonance needed for nylon string. Therefore changing the pickup will make no difference. I suggest that they remove this block, which isn't needed for the lighter tension of nylon, and replace the pickup with a Fishman OEM INK 401
