Harley Benton Nut File Set

These little round files are fantastic for smoothing and shaping slots, but they are easy to bend if you are too forceful, but they can also cut into the nut surprisingly fast as well so it's easy to go too far if you aren't careful.
They are great if you work gently and take time to stop and check your progress.
I don't think I'd try to cut a new nut with these as they are too flimsy, but for smoothing and shaping existing slots and sharp edges they are excellent.
For the price this is a no-brainer addition to your workshop.

The H.B nut file set is good for beginner and if you have just 1 guitar that you need to setup is useful but if you gonna setup many guitars i will not recommend this product

You need to use these gently and slowly in order to do the filing without any damage to the saddle/nut. So it would take too much of your time for even minor adjustments.
Better to invest in better quality file set(s) or just simply let the luthier take care of the task.

I got these blindly to work on a new baritone setup... At first sight I was sceptical to say the least. But actually it works perfectly, and it's all you can wish for to setup a nut.
Keep a written copy at hand of the article description because the gauges are not written on the files.

Not the best quality in the world, but these are perfectly usable for home use.

Got those for a mod project i had with a cheap HB telecaster.
Changing the normal nut for a graphtech which meant i had to adapt it.
Files and tools are so bad it would have been faster and cheaper to have it done by the luthier. In the end i was able to finsh it to a decent extent but i will not use hem ever again.

Good to learn but thats about it, don't expect good results and even lest fast ones.

I have recommended it to many players. The convenience/price are unbeatable and can bring your guitar to a whole new level.

I am a pro guitarist. I needed to file the low E slot a bit on my killer Harley Benton SC 550 , and this worked perfectly. For the price of a couple of cheeseburgers. Brill.

This is a good tool for what it does. When in a quick need to file your nut grooves, for better string placement and intonation, this will do the job.
Its a very useful tool, which I recommend and should be part of every guitar players Tool-Kit !

Better to take the spacer slats and serrate the edges to use as files. This device is nearly impossible to grip
