Great stuff for less money!
Arpie 07.11.2014
Well, I don't really like no name brand products because I had bad experience with them in quality wise. Sometimes at the end they cost more then if you buy the proper more expensive stuff for only once.
So as a beginning I had a mixed feelings with this 5way switch. I read the reviews and they convinced me this would be fine for my needs.
My decision was right.
This switch is actually nothing less in quality than the more expensive original Fender one. It feels robust, it looks massive and it is physically well built.
It was really easy to solder, the lever arm is stiff, the click sounds are very pleasant.
I purchased it to install into my 1989 Charvette 200. Does the job very well, I'm not really gentle when I use the switch but it looks it will last for loooong time......looooong time!
Very happy about this purchase!

Nice switch, moves smoothly and has that click in each position that garantees you feel it. Unfortunately mine was faulty in the 5th position.

Bought two of these to replace a worn out switch for a heavy handed player, this type of switch tends to be more rugged so chose this product specifically.
The first one went in fine but seemed a bit stiff and when it was inspected whatever held the shaft in place (an E clip) had come off and the switch fell apart in my hands. At least I was wise enough to buy two as the second went in flawlessly and functions with a reassuring feel of quality. It still worked out half the price of a premium switch.

Excellent Switch
AndyU 29.07.2017
As a guitar builder and repairer I use a lot of switches.
I though I would try a Harley benton switch as it seemed to be of good construction in the pictures supplied.
The big names supplied switches are getting more expensive and are mostly manufactured in the Far East any way.
Too sum it up the Harley benton switch performs well and has a good feel and is well made, it is early days regarding durability but seems as good as switches costing three times as much.
Highly recommended.

P
Works as it should
Perwanie 17.03.2018
I used this into my fernandes decade jazzmaster and it fits perfectly! I was afraid it would have been too big, but that wasn't the case. It's really well build and it doesnt switch too heavy nor too weak. I would recommend this more as can replacement than an upgrade. It works well but its not super quality such as for example Göldo!

Pros:
Cheap
Good working
Smooth switching

Cons:
Not too high quality, but works fine

In short: good as an replacement, works perfectly fine, if you really want some good quality, i would recommend going for an other brand!

low quality

I was initially unsure, then I was convinced to buy it by the good reviews.

Unfortunately I didn't like it, and the reason is that is difficult to position it. If you are on stage and u want to change your pickup configuration quickly (especially for positions 2 , 3 and 4) u'r gonna have problems because it is not fluid.
Compared with a fender brand 5 way switch , that's really a low quality product.

My advice is to spend 10¤ more and by a good one.

Nothing to fault

I initially only bought this to use the screws on another switch, but ended up using the whole switch. Perfectly functioning switch at a great price.

Not very reliable
Arcio 12.05.2018
Used this to replace the switch in a strat that came with a 3 way. Figured out it would work just as well as the Oak Grisby one, being basically a 1-1 copy.
Well, I had never witnessed a guitar switch failing so badly: after a couple weeks it started to feel loose and would not "click" into position; fast forward a couple more weeks and it came apart completely. It disintegrated beyond repair.
On the positive side, having it all apart was a good opportunity to understand how a switch works :-)
Maybe it was just bad luck and mine was flawed, but I will not cheap out on switches again in the future.

I'm surprised
Madman 10.11.2017
I've been using DiMarzio, and Fender 5 ways, for done time now.
This is the first cheap one I ever tried. And I'm totally satisfied by the quality of something much cheaper than what I'm used to.

I used it on a strat (obviously) that I was repairing where I had to use the cheaper parts as that's what my friend asked.
And I was expecting something like problems or noises, but after 3 or 4 weeks nothing at all.

It worked perfectly, without a problem. My friend's happy, and so am I.

My expectations were mostly low given the price of the product but was pleasantly surprised at the good build quality.

This is a great product for its price. I would recommend it and would buy again!
