I bought this to replace my old jack plate, for cosmetic reasons. I wanted a jack plate that was close to matt black, and this is! It has a slight shine to it, but it's not gloss. I would say a lot closer to matt.

Other than the cosmetic side, there's not much more to say. It works just as well as the original part, and came with 2 black screws.

Would buy it again!

I've bought other jack sockets where the hole isn't big enough for the jack plug to go into (totally useless). Not these though! Everything about them is as good as it gets and they're really cheap. Excellent!

I bought this to try a cosmetic change on my Fender Strat and it fit nicely. No need to drill extra holes, it was fine. It looks good too, fairly matte, I like it.
