Tuner Broke after two months

The E string Tuner broke after two months (the metal prongs on the mechanism snapped off - so the string could no longer be tuned at all) . Even before that, action was overly high and had some intonation , particularly on the A string. Cheap but not worth the saving.
I regret buying this as I have now had to buy a new more expensive bass anyway to replace it. Obviously, returning a guitar for repair is not easy (and not really worth it for a bass this cheap) so Thomann have sent a replacement tuner for me to repair myself (not ideal for someone buying a beginner bass with no experience of even changing a string)
