The Harley Benton PB-20 Standard is a pretty basic bass, perfect for if you need a bass to do bass things.
With the single split-coil pickup, it's a simple instrument, perfect for if you need a quick replacement, or are just getting your first bass, like me. While it's hardware leave something to be desired in some places, like the pickup being somewhat unsuitable for heavier styles of music (unless you put in a bit of setupwork), the overall tuning stability was very good.
The finish and paintjob itself is flawless, with the only damage being from after I recieved it. The satin black feels smooth to the touch, and gives it a more luxurious vibe than a body caked in thick poly. The entire neck being painted black as well is a nice touch. The only thing I would change visually is a black pickguard, but that's just my personal preference.
All in all, this is a basic bass for basic purposes, great if you need something simple on a tight budget.
