Does what it says
David D. 874 30.12.2022
I bought this for my Boss AD 10 and RC 500 also have a Roland SPD one plugged in.
The 2 Boss pedals required more power than my power supply would give. This works perfectly.
Pros
This is an excellent option. I have had no noise from the unit. Fully powered it lasts days. Takes a full 24 hrs to charge up using a regular Samsung phone charger.

Negatives
Its cover is made of plastic probably not going to take too much abuse. It's a fairly large size. Doesn't fit neatly under my pedal board.

How Long Does It Last?
Magilla66 24.03.2023
I mean, seriously?

I'm trying to test that now with a USB MIDI keyboard and my iPad Pro 11 connected to its power output (keyboard connected to iPad dongle for power, iPad power provided by PD input on dongle). Been going strong for the past 6 hours on 9v setting using just the USB-C port on the PowerPlant, three green dots on the power meter.

The only downside is recharging a completely discharged PowerPlant. It takes nearly a full day to charge back up. I bought two of these so I wouldn't have that problem :)

Power to the people!

This power plant is just awesome! It’s a chunky boy but that’s a good thing as it’s currently powering my RC-600 LoopStation, TC-Helicon Voicelive play acoustic (on 12v) and 2 smaller pedals all at the same time!
Did a 2hr live stream and and the 3 little dots to show the power haven’t even moved!! Plus I can use a USB-C to lightning cable to keep my iPhone charged whilst I live stream!
Total portability and power! Nice!

Harley Benton PowerPlant PowerBank

It's a brilliantly designed device. it can work both powered from the socket and on a battery that lasts longer than you are able to play, practice or play a concert. Harley Benton has proven that its power supplies are exceptionally good at such a low price. And in the case of this version, the voltage does not go below the minimum.

Game Changer!
AngusT1 15.09.2024
Amazing bit of kit, used to power RC600 (using a 4-1 adapter), OC5, Blackstar live logic midi controller, tuner and still power for more.

Lasts a good few hours before needing a recharge, and very handy USB-C port for charging.

If you're looking for a way to speed up your set up, and not be so reliant on a venues electricity, this is your answer!

This thing is a workhorse

Solves all my power problems.

Street busking, small outdoor venues and cafes is my thing.

I am autonomous and this runs my Roland SPDX-PRO, two fx pedals, a roland FS 7 and my BOSS rc-600 loop station at the same time. When I am not using My Mackie show box and down sizing it also runs my 50 watt guitar amp.

My only complaint but not a deal breaker was the provided cables. I had to search out different barrel sizes and polarity tips for some of my devices. Its really hard to get specs right but it is critical to have the correct size in your connections. It would be nice if they sacrificed a few of the cables and provided some more tip and barrel sizes to cover multiple devices.

I found Birdcords and they had what I needed and were very helpful in communicating what I needed for each device.

In future versions maybe another USB c slot and a second volt stepping slot in place of all the 9v ports. Maybe even provide a USB C to 9/12/18 volt adaptor as well with a multi size barrel tip.

With that being said, this thing is awesome and I would buy it again.

Rock Steady.

Recently I've had foot surgery that has left me unsteady on my feet. 2 Harley Benton products have allowed me to keep on playing live. Wireless 5.4 ghz system, and the Power Bank+ mk2. No cables and leads to trip me up. I can now concentrate on playing, rather than ensuring I don't fall on stage. OK no more Shadow walks but at 81 plenty of groovy rifts cleanly delivered via well made and sturdy equipment -- TA Harley thanks.

Compatibility read this for TC Helicon and Beat Buddy
ThomannBuyer 16.11.2024
I bought this to power a TC Helicon Acoustic Play and Beat Buddy.

When both plugged in using cables the awful howl makes them unusable. When I used a wireless transmitter and receiver on the BB the noise disappeared.

I asked Thomann for help. They told me it’s not powerful enough to run the pedals. But it seems ok to me on wireless connections.

Thomann also advised that the Falken alternative will not work either. In fact they claim no single power bank the sell will power these two pedals together.

Not saying this is a bad product but consider the above for this pedal combination.

They send me a faulty unit, beware if you are in need!
Avino Ugnis 02.03.2023
It seems the Mk2 version has not passed properly the quality tests, they send me a unit that does not power on and I was in desperate need of a new power supply.

The design looks very nice, it looks very convenient, but unfortunately the quality checks were probably non existent for Harley Benton in this new version

Disappointed

Should have been a game changer for my pedalboard, unfortunately it produces a lot of noise which renders it unusable . A good looking unit full of promise but massively failed to deliver
