I got this strap to go with my vintage style Jim Dandy parlour guitar.
It's a small lightweight guitar so the proportions of the strap match the guitar really well; most straps commonly available look bulky and oversized!
Since the guitar is so lightweight the shoulder pad isn't really necessary; I've taken it off since it kinda gets in the way. However for bulkier instruments I should think I'd be pleased to keep it in place - it's good to have that as an option.
This is a nice strap, well made with old school simplicity. It's an especially good match for vintage gear. It goes well with my pignose amp too so I may have to get another one!

Decent strap with comfortable padding
JCSD 07.04.2022
This is one of the most modestly-priced "vintage style" leather straps I've seen, and I can't see myself buying anything more expensive after using this strap. It does the job, is comfortable, isn't flimsy, and has great adjustability. What more could you want?

Good vintage looking strap
miguel morais 18.12.2017
I have mixed feelings about this strap.
On one hand it looks great and is made out of good quality leather. On the other hand, I personally find it to short to wear the guitar comfortably low and the shoulder padding is to stiff and quickly becomes uncomfortable, so I just took it off all together and use just the thinner part. Using it like that, and adding a heavy les paul can become a nightmare for the left shoulder.
Overall, is a good guitar strap, but it could be better.

Nice strap

I got tired of the kind of leather straps that you have to unbutton to adjust the length. All that threading of bits through slots... Nah.
The HB Vintage Leather Strap does away with all that. It's easily adjustable without having to detach an end from the guitar. A boon for strap lock users.
It's also slim and light. Easy to fit into the case, again without having to remove it from your guitar.
It seems pretty tough and the pad works well enough and makes it comfortable to wear.
A good strap at a good price

Beautiful Strap

Comparing to other similar straps at twice or three times the price, this is absolutely beautiful and very sturdy. Highly recommended!

Fits good, looks better
José4667 16.02.2015
I bought this strap mainly because of it's looks. I wanted a leather strap, for the durability, but most of leather straps are too wide. I found this one to be really confortable and don't be fooled by it's fragile appearance, it's really solid and well-made.
I just wouldn't recommend it to be used with basses or heavier guitars.

A sturdy and nice looking vintage strap
JustinasK 08.11.2024
Have no issues whatsoever. It looks very cool and I like that the shoulder pad slides around the strap so you can rotate the guitar a bit and the pad will still stay on your shoulder (you may need to soften the leather a bit for this to work).
