Not suitable for pointy's

I bought this stand for my Dean ML and V. I had Hercules hanging stands in the past but the rubber parts of those disintegrated and the stands fell apart. For pointy guitars normal stands are not safe so a hanging stand is your only option. This model only has some foam on two feet to support the back of the body. There is no other support for the back. If you place the stand too high, the guitar hits the metal parts; if you place it lower the sharp ends of your V or ML or any pointy guitar slides to one end of the feet and the stand twists to one side. This is a horrible design for a otherwise decent quality stand.
