Heriba 172 SW String Winder BK

Self explanatory, while it may fly out of my hands at times and the fit might not be perfect for some tuners it does do its job and I'm happy to recommend it.

I've used a few others that hasn't held up as well as these. Won't fit perfectly on all tuners but gets the job done. By cutting a deeper slot it works well on basses too.

Build quality is good. The tool helps to wind tuners as expected. But when you try to extract pins be careful not to give it excessive pressure towards pin head. I managed to extract 5 but broke 1 plastic pin. Had to replace it. To extract broken pin I had to push it from inside of my guitar. When extracting pins apply more from side to side upward movements trying not to apply too much pressure towards pin head. Though for pin extraction I would recommend to use more suitable tool especially if you are going to re-string your guitars regularly.

Changed guitar strings to various acoustic, electric guitars. Pulled the "pins" out of acoustic.. its stable and steady. No problem. Would suggest to a family member or a friend (-:

Not the cheapest and far from the most expensive. This is built more sturdily than the very cheap winders. It’s made from thick plastic and operates smoothly. It will last the rest of my guitar career i’m sure.

Get one today - it costs less than a beer :-)

I must be one of the last people in the world to get one of these. How on Earth I got by without one for all these years, I'll never know!

This one's as good as any in this price range, and the quality is just fine.

Great quality string winder, feels very solidly built and turns well. But having two differently sized crossed openings for tuners is a bit of a downside for me, not mentioning that neither slot really fits my guitar - one's very loose, one too tight. Gave it to a buddy who's happy with it!

I use this string winder on my acoustic bass guitar and classical guitar. No major problem or flaws. I don't change strings all the time so I'd consider it a bargain at this price.
