Decent enough value XLR socket. While soldering it, the plastic parts seemed to melt a bit. Doesn't seem to have affected its performance, so I am not too worried about this but the other XLRs I was soldering at the same time did not show any signs of melting. Other than that, not much to say, it's a D size XLR socket, locks nicely with a couple of different XLR plugs and looks decent enough

I used 16 of those for a panel, they do look good, but I had a couple of pins moving due to overheating of the soldering iron. Nothing that can't be fixed, but be careful when soldering. Maybe get and extra pair, still worth for the price difference.
