The case is made very well. But it does not fit a Fender American Precision Bass even though it is described as being suitable. A Precision Bass is not secure inside the case, there is too much space around the edges and the bass collides with the sides and ends especially. My bass was damaged when I used this case for a flight. A tuning key was bent as the bass had moved inside. Jazz Basses seem to fit ok. I’m back to using my standard Fender ABS cases as the fit is much better for all of my Fenders. My Fender cases have taken external damage over the years, but I’ve never had an instrument damaged. My first outing with the Hiscox bass case and my p bass resulted in damage to the bass. My bad, I should have checked the fit more thoroughly.
