It's not on the description, but it's made of wood. You realize it specially when you start to sand it down and you can smell the pine.
It fitted well on my HCT-500 Contemporary, but you need to sand it down a lot.
The looks on this nut is unbeatable the white-black sandwich does really something on the finished look.
I also got the Höfner Potiknob H909/15 to complete the look.
Tone-wise, I can really say much beacause I went from tape-wound to flats (much finer, therefore the need of this nut). So the whole sound profile changed, but the sustain is really better now and the hollow-esque sound is much more present, the later probably due to the string type.
