Diepe, ronde klank. Aangenaam smalle rand. Bescheiden diameter; ik kan beter uit de voeten met een wat groter formaat, maar dat doet niets af aan de kwaliteit van dit mondstuk. Vooral in de hoogte is dit niet het gemakkelijkste mondstuk om te bespelen. Ik heb een hoorn waarop de hoge g moeilijk aanspreekt; met dit mondstuk heb ik daar merkbaar meer last van dan met sommige andere. Maar iedere hoornist zou ten minste één mondstuk van dit genre moeten bezitten.
