Patch cable sets for modular synths

With the CMM-800 series, the US manufacturer Hosa offers high-quality patch cables in four different lengths made especially for modular and semi-modular synthesizers and sound modules. These are available as sets of eight different-coloured cables of identical length. The unbalanced mono mini-jack cables feature a robust and highly flexible outer jacket to allow optimum handling. The patch cables of the CMM-800 series also feature effective shielding that ensures interference-free signal transmission. Excellent workmanship and slim connectors round off the overall package.

Protection against interference and noise

Each patch cable in the Hosa CMM-890 set is 90cm in length and has a conductor cross-section of 0.14mm2 (AWG26). The conductor itself is made of high-purity, oxygen-free copper for excellent signal clarity and conductivity. Effective protection against electromagnetic interference and radio frequency interference (RFI) is provided by the spiral shielding made of 85% OFC. Its robust outer jacket, on the other hand, protects the conductor and spiral shield from damage. The extremely compact 3.5mm mono jack plugs are nickel-plated for efficient signal transmission.

finally long enough cables for my modular case to reach other gear.
maybe not as sturdy as I would've wanted, some of them have lost connectivity in a pretty short time. but they're cheap so i don't really mind

Great cables, no more no less. Fairly small connectors so they actually fit in crowded areas of the modular system.

Eight awesome cables!

This is a set of eight excellent cables for a modular system, probably the best I've got so far. They are of very good build quality - slim, sturdy jacks, easy to patch and unpatch. The color selection is nice (I'd like them to be more bright and flashy, but that's just my taste). The price is alright. I will definitely get them again!
