The SOBass damper does just what it advertises. Set up was easy and it fitted well on my smaller 20" bass drum. It cut the volume down enough to be able to play at home. Clearly won't be silent playing but best solution I have found yet.

I am so glad that these dampeners exist. I can play without disturbing my neighbours now. They do their job and well! The drums are really quiet. I am very happy and highly recommend these dampeners! These bass drum dampeners also provide beater rebound!

It works better than I expected! It is very easy to mount and it absorbs the sound very well and the recoil is the same as a regular bass drum head! Reccomend it!
