I Purchased this cymbal sound off for the cymbals on a pearl target kit which is in a bedroom in the house so it's important to keep the sound down during practice ,they are made of a thick rubber material which is very durable when playing the sound is reduced significantly ,the feel isn't a natural feel of hitting a cymbal and the styles you can play with it on are limited ,it's very easy to put on and off ,it does do what it's meant to which is dampen the sound but don't expect it to sound the same as an undampened cymbal.

it's good but frustrating
Stephane4242 22.11.2013
I find these of good make and well suited for what they are suppose to do. However I find it frustrating to have a cymbal shut off. it feels like you are banging a stick of wood on a metallic plate (which is exactly what it is) but more than that it sounds and feel like that. No pleasure stroking your cymbal but hey, that's why you bought the product, to stop them ringing...they will do the job but expect a "clang"
