Humes & Berg New Stone Lined ST-187 Velvet

Velvet bucket mute for flugelhorn. Great tone when in use, it trims all the edges in the sound making it mellow, dark and steamy in some way. Fits perfectly on the flugelhorn bell, i use it on a yamaha bobby shew. When arrived it was a little bent and would not fit perfectly, but the material is not too rigid so i just bent it again to get the perfect circle shape and it has stayend in that position ever since. The 3 clips to hold onto the bell are made of metal and covered in soft plastic so that they don't scratch your instrument.
It's a little more difficult to put on quickly than a normal "inside-bell" mute, but it provides a beautiful warm rich tone that would not be possible by stuffing the bell
