A good sustain of notes while played unplugged, which decays very nicely to offer the required sound for my type of jazz music. It offers particularly good sound projection & I loved playing both Solos & Harmonys. The feel of the fretboard is amazing, and the frets are perfectly smooth on the edges to give your fingers a nice movement. I needed to do a little bit of action correction to remove the buzzing on the 14~15 frets. I managed to get good intonation for a floating bridge guitar. While played plugged in, it sounds great with my Fender G-Dec. However, while playing it clean, I can see a sharp difference between the sounds compared with my Fender. But Ibanez AG95QA-DBS, I would say, has a vastly different feel and I have already fallen in love with this one. For a hollow body I was expecting a lightweight guitar, but I think I can manage as it seems sturdy as far as the durability is concerned & the Quilted Ash & DBS offer an amazing look.
Thank you Thomann for introducing me to this amazing companion.
Cheers!
