As I mentioned above I can honestly recommend this guitar. The difference between AS73TBC and AS93FM is significant. Arrived fully set up, surprisingly exactly the way I like it. Frets polished, perfectly finished, no buzz, nice action. I could take it out from the box and jump straight on stage with it!
Pickups sound amazing, both on clean, crunch and distorted channel. Pickups actually surprised me very much. Before purchase I had in plan to buy a set of Gibson 57 pickups for it, but the original ones sound excellent. You can get creamy sound but also throaty sound ouf of them. I especially love the neck pickup that is nice and dynamic not muddy at all. Finish is perfect. Lovely colour, flame top, and back. Flamed sides are looking fantastic. High quality instrument. I was a bit skeptical about this instrument after trying AS73 but AS93 is another level guitar.
Neck, 3 piece maple/nyatoh is very stable and comfortable, just perfect for me.
Hardware - quality of the the gold colour is 9/10. Looks a bit too light for me. Tuners are "no brand" but working properly without complaints (by tuning I guess it could be 18:1)
Guitar is equipped with mini pots (linear) that work perfect, switch works perfect, jack works perfect.
The instrument requires no work at all and is great as it is. Great value for the money as well.
I am not planning to upgrade anything. It is great as it is.
Sustain - AS93 has a great sustain, I am really impressed.
I have another 20 guitars but I can't stop playing this one.
AS93 stole my heart.....
