Surprisingly light
Smooooth 03.02.2017
This was purchased principally as a back-up guitar, though this model was in part chosen out of curiousity as to how an all-mahogany guitar would perform at this price range. Aesthetically the open pore top is more subtle than shown, and in terms of texture feels comfortable once well acquainted with the hands. However, the back is very thin and therefore I wouldn't feel comfortable gigging with this in anything but the most intimate of settings. The neck is smooth and plays well, though perhaps thinner than one might expect. The provided strings are servicable and sounded better once the guitar had been set up and settled in open-D ? though it doesn't handle a slide particularly comfortably. In this tuning as well as standard, the tone growls and is full of mids, thus I would recommend the instrument to anyone to whom such a sound appeals seeking a cheap acoustic for home/studio use, though to aficionados of mahogany interested in more than just the novelty of the material I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Though at this price, someone tempted by more expensive Ibanez acoustics in this style would do well to try this out first.

Good Guitar for Beginners
Sabbir 01.10.2015
As i wanted to learn guitar, did a research and thought this guitar would be a fine to start with.
Thomann were very quick on processing the order, and it came in excellent packaging.

as for guitar, i would recommend it to any one who wants to start of, it is affordable and has excellent sound quality. The picture may not determine the colour quality and beauty of this product. the action on this guitar was a bit high for my liking so i went to a specialist and had him adjust the action, it's now low without any fret buzz , and the neck is comfortable even for the people with small fingers. The strings that comes with it is of good quality, but i would suggest to use some a small gaze strings on it. i used .10-.47 strings and it sounds awesome.

I would recommend this product to my friends.

Sounds Beautiful! but....
TheSargKyle 11.06.2021
I love the size and feel, and it resonates so much! Has great control over dynamics too. It had a little bit of fret buzz on the b string out of box, and after some truss rod adjustment it sounds much better, but still has a little problems here and there on the 2nd and 3rd frets. But it plays well all the way up the neck other than that! Keep it mind you'll need to tie a strap to the neck

A
Review of the "Ibanez PC12MH-OPN"
Anonymous 27.12.2016
This Guitar, in my opinion, has been made very very well and sounds really really good.
I use this Guitar for home recordings (which a microphone I bought from Thomann). And I also use it for gigs I do, and it works great for both.
It has nice features such as, the pickguard, which has a really nice design. The Guitar looks really nice in general, it has a really nice wood, a really nice colour, and overall just looks really cool, and really well made.
The sound is pretty damn awesome on this Guitar. It has really good highs, as well as really good bass, good job Ibanez.
I have two other Guitars and this one is definitely my first option always, it's (in my opinion) one of the best Guitars I own.
One thing I don't like though is that this guitar is only made as a "OOO" body guitar. I feel it would be more practical if Ibanez were to make this Guitar in other body types as well. And yes I do realise that I could have bought a smaller Guitar but, this Guitar was just too good to say no.
So in total, I think this guitar is a great option for beginner and for professional Guitar players. I recommend everyone buys it.
