One of my favourites

I'm a bit of a pick nerd, I'll be honest. While I'm normally quite skeptical of the various "tone myths" and "corksniffing" that we guitarists tend to partake of, when it comes to picks I am extremely discerning.

I've used a wide variety of shapes, sizes, materials, have tried a number of picks that cost over £8 each, and have even attempted to make my own out of milk (seriously, look it up). I can tell the difference each kind of pick has on my sound, and so I am very "picky" about picks.

These Ibanez Steve Vai picks don't appeal to my pickiness: they're not my favourite shape, they're slightly more flexible than I normally like, and they're not made of the material I prefer. However, for reasons which remain unintelligible to me, I love these picks. They last a long time, they sound good, they look good, they feel good.

I bought this set to replace one I've had kicking around since 2004, which I picked up the other day and came to the realization that it is probably my favourite.

I don't think you can go wrong with these picks. Even if, like me, you would normally turn your nose up at this kind of plectrum, I suggest you try them.

If you're a Steve Vai fan, then that's just the icing on the cake.

I'm not a Steve Vai fan. I don't shred. I don't like that kind of music. But these are my picks of choice. They've got the perfect shape and thickness and they last forever.

These are one of the best picks on the market. When they get worn out just scratch them on a piece of carpet and they are like brand new

This is one of the best picks I have tried. The tone is clear and it sustains nicely. A bit pricy but worth the price! Highly recommended.

Used these picks for a years. My IMHO - the best picks on the market. Optimal thickness, VERY durable (in comparsion with another plastic picks), very good grip due to the rough surface.
