Ibanez Ukulele Gigbag Concert

I bought this at the same time as my Korala plastic concert ukulele, but since I never take that anywhere, I'm now using it to keep the dust off a small MIDI keyboard (a Yamaha CBX K1, which is 509 x 155 x 55 mm (20-1/16? x 6-1/8? x 2-3/16?).

I've had zipped bags and soft cases where the zips were hard to operate, and I expected them to break, sooner or later. The zips on this work well, so I'm confident that they'll last.

It's a good weight - not too heavy or too flimsy, and there's a decent amount of padding.

The price is good too - and it's an even better price for a small keyboard bag.

I use this for my harley benton concert size Uk. I transport it in and out of school as I work as a teacher.
It is perfect for this and is very easy to handle and means the Uk is kept out of sight of all the kids and so they are not so tempted to get their hands on it.
Good thing about this is that it has a great strap on the back and I do feel very safe throwing it in and out of the back of the car as it is so well padded.
One thing I should say though is that after about four days of use, the orange shoe lace tag connected to the zip on the front pocket just fell off without much interference. I tried to tie it back on but it was just as easy to leave it off. The zip works fine and the other lace tags are fine.
Well worth it for the padding and protection though

This is pretty much a standard padded carry-bag for a ukulele, but a rather good one. Overall it's quite handsome in appearance, and that reflects its general quality. It has a very presentable smart black finish and is trimmed very neatly with some quality in the detail. Zippers operate smoothly and fobs are attached with short cords for easier handling. The front of the bag has a usefully-sized pocket for various necessities (e.g. spare strings, picks, tuner etc). The back has a single adjustable webbing shoulder strap running its length.

The bag is very well-padded and indeed this has made it a little bit tight when used at first but I expect it to 'relax' and to adjust to fit the instrument snugly over time. (For your info, I keep a Brunswick concert ukulele in it.)

Overall, a robust, functional good-looker.

To begin with, I was looking for a concert ukulele bag quite for some time in my city. Actually, no shop had it for some reason which is pretty surprising. My next step was to check Thomann web site where , obviously I have found one. I just randomly picked the cheapest one, thinking that I can buy a new one if this one is bad quality.
But as it is always with Thomann - cheap does not mean bad or poor quality at all.
Firstly, the bag fits just perfectly. it is not bigger and not smaller than needed. Now my ukulele is pretty portable (before I had the default box from shop)
Secondly, the quality of the material and all the stitches are well done and (I hope) long lasting.
Last but not least, I was surprised that it even had a pocket on its side.
Best value for money for sure!
