NON COMPATIBLE WITH MAJOR CONTROLLERS.
Andreu Mateu 13.03.2021
WARNING !!! Nowhere in the description of the product neither in the videos I watched on youtube says it is not compatible with Push 2, Akai Apc 40, Novation SL Mkiii, Maschine, and many others. I could never imagine that could be the case, so when I received it through the case away. Now I have a problem returning it. Thoman should warn about that in the description. According to what I read now after buying most MIDI devices with USB ports follow the standard protocol for USB-MIDI - we call this being “class compliant”. However, some more advanced MIDI devices have extra features not covered in the MIDI specification and are thus not fully class-compliant. Devices like these will not operate correctly when attached to an iConnectivity USB-MIDI Host port. See the list of non-compatible controllers and synths here. https://iconnectivity.supportbee.io/53-iconnectivity-knowledgebase/534-midi/837-is-my-midi-device-compatible-with-the-iconnectivity-usb-midi-host-port

If I didn't have to use this, I certainly wouldn't. Crash-happy app, hard time reading ports, doesn't even act as a USB hub, which is just stupid when you have the capability to do so with TEN USB ports. Worst piece of gear I've used in a long time. Really hope someone comes out with some competition soon so I can sell off this unfinished scrap heap, but until then we're stuck with it unfortunately.
