Living in an apartment and not having a big budget, I had simply given up on chasing Brian's tone with AC30 amp in a box pedals. Then this arrived and changed everything.
Installation was very easy, and this pack to my ears gets really close to the essence of Brian's sound. It can sound thick and singing, and it cleans up with a roll of the volume knob, as you'd expect on a proper real amp.
The included presets cover a wide range of Brian's studio tones, or you can set up your own take on a live sound, 70s, 80s or 90s+.
One thing I don't like is in Amplitube 4, the built in "Brighton Rock" delay settings sound too underwhelming, and are tied to the triple amp configuration. That said, you can kinda work around it with amplitube's delays, or, in Amplitube 5 the issue is solved altogether since you can now have multiple amps with their own effects chain.
Also, keep in mind good headphones or speakers will be needed for the best sound.
Highly recommended, a great quality take on the Brian sound without expensive and loud tube amps and treble boosters.
